Interior Design

A few years ago, we decided to expand our interior design services to offer even more value to our projects. Now we have the processes in place to guide homeowner and business owners through the exciting, and sometimes challenging, journey of selecting every single exterior and interior finish and material for their home or business —including floor finishes, cabinet hardware, style of interior doors, and down to every light fixture and faucet. After those choices are made, it extends into furniture, window coverings, and detail pieces. It’s a very long list with strict deadlines and lead times to be managed, and we’re proud to be the guide for our clients throughout this process so they don’t have to do it alone!

Project & Client Advocacy

At Springhouse Architects, we don’t disappear once the plans are drawn. Acting as your project advocate during the construction of your custom home, we attend on site meetings for questions and clarifications. Providing construction administration, our boutique team will ensure construction documents are maintained – detailing plan and materials changes and ensuring your home will be built according to the design intent and technical details outlined in the construction documents. Our team members also work to coordinate with the construction team to resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise during the construction process. Additionally, we make site visits to observe the construction progress and to ensure that the project is being built to the required standards.

Sheri Scott listened attentively to our vision of the modern home we wanted, something rather unusual in this area of the Midwest. She then went to work designing, modifying and putting her unique stamp on the plan for our new home. We loved working with Springhouse Architects. We wanted to do a fairly extensive remodeling of our house. We had ideas of what was important to us, but no idea how to make those ideas come to life. Sheri at Springhouse was a fantastic partner. We shared our ideas, and she and her team came back with several options.

Our favorite thing about working with Springhouse was the attention to detail. Our home is just over 100 years old (as discovered in our ceiling) and we love the original detail in our old home. Keeping that in mind with the design and layout, we were able to continue with the old details but make it new. The kitchen is easily our most favorite space and we were able to make it bigger, raise the ceiling to add in the wooden beams we liked, and design it around our treasured large farmhouse sink. I love that our home no longer has wasted spaces and that Springhouse helped us to incorporate every space in our living design.
